Confidentiality and data protection

Your documents are not sold, nor used by Bikivert for any purpose other than providing the verification service. The files you upload are not kept: they are read in memory to extract their text.

If you are signed in, the results of your checks (aligned passages, issues found, decisions and comments) are saved in your history, linked to your account. Guests have no saved history: their results disappear when they leave the page.

Artificial intelligence providers

To analyse your documents, their text is sent to third-party artificial intelligence providers. When a file is a scan or an image, it is also sent to them so that its text can be extracted. These providers process this data under their own terms and retention policies.

Disclaimer

Bikivert is a proofreading and quality-control aid. It helps you spot errors, inconsistencies, omissions or other points that may have escaped your attention. Its analyses and suggestions do not, however, replace the professional judgement of the translator or reviewer.

You remain responsible for the final check of the document and its content before any approval, certification or delivery to the client.
